Guiding Traditional Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra Teacher Training
Karen will lead a training for guiding traditional yoga nidra in the winter of 2024 in the gorgeous and energetically charged salt room at Aquarian Uprising. The course will also be streamed on Zoom for those interested in joining remotely. We will meet on Saturdays, February 10th, 17th and 24th from 9am-noon Mountain Time. *class time may need to be adjusted to 8-11am on the 24th.
We will focus on developing a personal practice and the art of guiding others. Yoga nidra is sleep-based meditation, and the traditional practice moves us through the 5 layers of our being to take us to a state of awake clarity while allowing the body and senses to fall asleep. This state is very close to that of deep meditation, and by taking advantage of the benefits of the physiology of sleep, folks can obtain deep rest and peace of mind more quickly than in traditional meditation.
The time is ripe for yoga nidra practice! It is the antidote to stress, technology, and the fast pace of modern life. It is a wonderful thing to offer yourself and to share with others. This course is open to yoga teachers and practitioners, and provides Yoga Alliance continuing education credits.
The cost is $400 and includes all materials, including a library of ten recorded practices. Remote students will need to print their own workbooks, which will be sent by email upon registration. Pay by venmo @karene-vail or if you prefer to pay by credit card, you can do so here:
