An Ethic of Care: A New Look at Mindfulness Practice

In honor of the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr, let’s take a look at how we engage in practice. Mindfulness meditation can be practiced as an effort to improve ourselves.  A different approach is to consider that spacious, clear awareness is our nature, and that allowing ourselves to rest in such well-being is a gift that we can offer to ourselves as an act of kindness or care.  In choosing to care for ourselves, we create joy and access generosity that spill over toward others and the world.  The difference is a sense of ease, and a lack of self-judgment. This workshop is for anyone, all are welcome.
