with Optional Teacher Training Track
For mindfulness practice to be effective, it takes a certain amount of context and theoretical understanding, but mostly a consistent approach to practice that lays the foundation for the mind and nervous system to begin to reorganize itself. This intensive is designed to give you a solid foundation for an ongoing path of mindfulness practice that will support your discovering ease and clarity in your life, as well as the option to train to teach these practices.
This 6-month course course will meet one weekend per month with remote and in-person options starting in November 2027 and ending in April 2028. There will be one book per month to read, as well as audio meditation recordings to practice. This course offers Yoga Alliance continuing education credit. Video recordings will be available if you miss the live session or just want to review the class material.
There are no specific requirements to join this course other than an open mind and a commitment to practice. The entire group meets together on Saturdays. Teacher training track participants will also meet on Sundays.
In this course we will:
Learn to approach mindfulness practice with ease and efficacy
Train to relax with present moment experience with a sense of care.
Begin to see our reactivity without being hijacked.
Engage in the process of transforming habits that cause unnecessary difficulty for ourselves and others.
Gain confidence in our ability to discover and rest in well-being that originates within.
We will be working with the Four Foundations of Mindfulness as taught by the Buddha. This could also be called Vipassana, which means insight practice. We are developing discriminating wisdom about our own mind and heart, and cultivating a path that offers greater well-being both internally and in our relationship to the world.

The cost of this course is $850 for the practitioner track and $1250 for the teacher training track. A $250 deposit will reserve your spot ($450 for tt track). Final payment is due by January 1st.
